A Virtual Public Open House for the I-80/Ashby Avenue Improvement Project

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC), in collaboration with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the cities of Berkeley and Emeryville, proposes to reconstruct the I-80/Ashby Avenue interchange to ease congestion, provide better interstate access, and connect pedestrians and cyclists to the San Francisco Bay Trail.

On Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 5:30 p.m., Caltrans and Alameda CTC will host a 90-minute virtual public open house to inform the public about the project. The project Draft Environmental Document to examine the potential impacts of the project was recently released, which began its 45-day review period that will end on January 31, 2022. The project team encourages you, your family, friends and co-workers to attend this meeting and to provide comments on the environmental document during the 45-day comment period.
