Business Outreach Committee

Alameda CTC is a member of the Business Outreach Committee (BOC), a consortium of Bay Area transit and transportation agencies working together to assist Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) through training, providing technical assistance, and relationship-building with agency staff and the contracting community of the San Francisco Bay Area.   • Certification Workshops DBE/ACDBE 2- Day Series – Wednesday, June 12, 2024, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. & Thursday, June 13, 2024, 10:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (PT) The Business Outreach Committee is hosting a two-day series. Day 1 will be a virtual meeting providing an overview of the DBE/ACDBE Program and updates, an overview on identifying NAICS Codes, as well as a review of the online certification portal and application process. Day 2 will be an in-person workshop hosted in both Northern and Southern California. Attendees will receive technical assistance with starting an online application, how to check the status of an existing application, and will receive free DBE and small business support services from resource partners, networking with public transit and transportation agencies, and get your questions answered by certifying experts in the field.
