The anticipated performance period is for an initial period of three (3) years from July 2023 to June 2026, with options for up to two (2) additional years of service. This contract will be funded with Vehicle Registration Fee (VRF) Revenue, Measure B, and/or Measure BB funds, or such funds in combination with other local funds. 7th Street Grade Separation East (7SGSE) Construction (R23-0007)
January 3, 2023 at 9:20 a.m. The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) invites you to submit a bid for the construction of the 7SGSE project. This 755 Working Day project will reconstruct the existing substandard railroad underpass on 7th Street between Interstate 880 and Maritime Street, to increase clearance for trucks, meet current geometric and seismic standards, and improve the shared pedestrian/bicycle pathway on a realigned and reconstructed 7th Street, located within the Port of Oakland Seaport area. The types of work included, but not limited to, are roadway, structures, rail, electrical, intelligent transportation system elements, mechanical, foundation, tiebacks, dewatering, drainage, utilities, traffic control, flagging, construction surveys, develop water supply, fabric and oils, construction signage, temporary k-rail, demolition/building removal, clear and grub, erosion control, minor concrete structure, reinforcing steel, fencing, pavement striping and markings, signal and lighting, and street sweeping. Specialized items include deep soil mixing (DSM) walls and DSM hold down piles. A California Class A contractor’s license is required. ALONG SAN LEANDRO STREET IN ALAMEDA COUNTY May 10, 2022 at 11:25 a.m. The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) proposes seeking bids from contractors to maintain the East Bay Greenway (Segment 7A) along San Leandro Street between the Coliseum BART Station and 85th Avenue (Project). The Project includes sweeping, weed removal, graffiti removal, striping, pothole filling, painting of fences/railing, repair/replacement of railing and other items as described in the contract documents. A California Class A contractor’s license is required. This contract will be funded with Measure B funds. As such, the Alameda CTC Local Business Contract Equity Program (LBCE) will apply. The LBCE Program’s goals for construction are 60.0% for Local Business Enterprise (LBE) and 20.0% for Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE).
