Construction Management Services for the 7th Street Grade Separation East Project (R20-0003)

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) invites you to submit a proposal to provide construction management services for the 7th Street Grade Separation East Project (Project). The performance period is anticipated to be a period of 48 months from January 2020 to December 2023. Responses should be submitted in accordance with the requirements and instructions set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including the following:

This contract will be funded in part by the California Transportation Commission’s 2018 Local Partnership Program (LPP) and 2018 Trade Corridor Enhancement Program (TCEP), established under Senate Bill 1 (SB 1), and as such, will not be subject to the Alameda CTC Local Business Contract Equity Program. However, as local firms are a vital component of Alameda County’s economy, Alameda CTC strongly encourages each proposer to consider the use of local and small firms in its proposal.
  • Pre-Proposal Meeting (Mandatory for Prime Proposers): Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time (PT). Engineering Design Services for the I-680 Southbound Express Lane from SR-84 to Alcosta Boulevard (R20-0002)

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) invites you to submit a proposal to provide professional engineering design services for the I-680 Southbound Express Lane from SR-84 to Alcosta Boulevard Project. The anticipated performance period is for an initial period of 60 months from December 2019 to December 2024, with an option for up to one additional year of service. Responses should be submitted in accordance with the requirements and instructions set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including the following:
  • Local Business Contract Equity Program: This contract will be funded with Vehicle Registration Fees (VRF), Measure B and/or Measure BB funds, or such funds in combination with other local funds. As such, the Alameda CTC Local Business Contract Equity (LBCE) Program requirements will apply. The LBCE Program’s goals for professional services are 70.0% for Local Business Enterprise (LBE) and 30.0% for Small Local Business Enterprise (SLBE).

Multimodal Performance Monitoring of the Alameda County Transportation Network (R20-0001)

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) invites you to submit a proposal to provide professional services for Alameda CTC for the Multimodal Performance Monitoring of the Alameda County Transportation Network. The anticipated performance period is for an initial period of 12 months from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020 with an option for an additional monitoring cycle for calendar year 2022 (through December 31, 2022). Responses should be submitted in accordance with the requirements and instructions set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including the following:
  • Local Business Contract Equity Program: This contract will be funded with VRF funds, or such funds in combination with other local funds. As such, the Alameda CTC Local Business Contract Equity (LBCE) Program requirements will apply. Port of Oakland – Freight Intelligent Transportation System (FITS) (R19-0006)

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) invites you to submit a bid for the construction of the FITS project. This 230 working day project in and near the Port of Oakland includes installation of the following elements: Advanced Traffic Management System, Signal Upgrades, Closed Circuit Television, Changeable Message Signs, Queue Detection, Communication Improvements, Center-to-Center Communication, Supplemental Vehicle Detection, Train Detection Equipment, and Weigh-in-Motion. A California Class A contractor’s license is required.
  • Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE): This contract will be funded in part by federal funds and has a 14% DBE goal.
