Alameda CTC Honors Commission Chair and Design Competition Winners

On Thursday, December 6, Alameda CTC honored outgoing Chair Mayor Mark Green and young Alameda County designers.

Mayor Mark Green wearing a suit During its monthly Commission meeting on Thursday, December 6, Alameda CTC honored outgoing Commission Chair, Mayor Mark Green, a significant champion of transportation projects and funding throughout his 19-year tenure as Mayor of Union City and as Chair of the Alameda County Transportation Commission since its inception in 2010.

Also, during the December 6 meeting from 4-4:30 p.m., Alameda CTC honored three students whose designs were chosen to adorn the Alameda County side of the new Caldecott Tunnel Fourth Bore, as well as the 30 students selected to receive honorable mentions and all students who submitted entries to the Caldecott Fourth Bore Medallion Design Competition from Alameda County.
