For 12th Straight Year, Alameda CTC Recognized for Excellence in Financial Reporting

ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. – The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) has been recognized for the 12th consecutive year for excellence in financial reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. The Government Finance Officers Association    of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded Alameda CTC the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence   in Financial Reporting, the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. The report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the program’s high standards, including a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” that clearly communicates the agency’s financial story and motivates potential users to read     the report.

“Receiving GFOA’s Certificate for the twelfth straight year underscores Alameda CTC’s commitment to the public through clear, accountable financial reporting,” said Tony Tavares, Executive Director of Alameda CTC. “Voters entrusted us with Measure BB dollars to deliver real transportation improvements, and we take that responsibility seriously. My thanks to Deputy Executive Director of Finance and Administration Patricia Reavey and the entire Finance team for the disciplined work behind this recognition.”
