ALAMEDA COUNTY, Calif. – The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) has been recognized for the 13th consecutive year for excellence in financial reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025. The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) awarded Alameda CTC the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. The report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the program’s high standards, including its standard for a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” that clearly communicates the agency’s financial story and motivates potential users to read the report.
“Receiving GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for the 13th consecutive year reflects Alameda CTC’s commitment to fiscal stewardship and clear financial reporting,” said Tony Tavares, Executive Director of Alameda CTC. “With Measure BB, Alameda County voters gave us the resources and responsibility to make critical transportation investments. Strong fiscal practices help ensure we deliver on that trust. I thank Deputy Executive Director of Finance and Administration Patricia Reavey and our Finance team for the diligent work that continues to earn this recognition.”
