2025-2026 Access for All WAV Grant Program Call for Projects

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) is pleased to announce a call for projects for the 2025-2026 Access for All (AFA) Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) Grant Program. The program funds projects that expand on-demand WAV services for individuals who use wheelchairs and need same-day transportation within Alameda County. It is supported by a $0.10 Access Fee collected by the California Public Utilities Commission on TNC rides, with funds administered locally by Alameda CTC. Approximately $1.35 million is available for eligible applicants.

The 2025-2026 AFA WAV grant focuses on providing WAV services similar to on-demand taxis or TNCs to expand and improve same-day transportation options. Application materials are available on the Alameda CTC website: https://www.alamedactc.org/funding-opportunities. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, and the solicitation may be reopened if additional eligible applicants are needed to fully program the funds.
