Your Measure B and Vehicle Registration Fee Dollars at Work

Since 2000, Alameda CTC has distributed more than $655 million in Measure B pass-through funds to local jurisdictions and transit agencies.

Alameda County’s Measure B sales tax dollars are put to work every day throughout Alameda County to improve the quality of life, mobility, safety and health of all Alameda County residents. Local transit agencies including paratransit providers, jurisdictions and Alameda County receive Measure B and Vehicle Registration Fee monthly pass-through payments to meet regional transportation priorities for several programs: Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety, Local Streets and Roads, Local Transportation Technology, Mass Transit, Paratransit and Transit for Congestion Relief.

Since 2000, Alameda CTC has distributed more than $655 million in Measure B pass-through funds and has distributed more than $18.9 million in Vehicle Registration Fee pass-through dollars since 2012. These funds are used to make important local transportation improvements, to leverage and attract state and federal dollars, to deliver projects and services, and to support our local economy with efficient transportation systems.
