17th Annual Independent Watchdog Committee Report

Each year, Alameda CTC’s Independent Watchdog Committee (IWC) reviews all agency expenditures, Measure B, Measure BB and performance measures. The IWC reports its findings annually to the public to ensure appropriate use of sales tax funds on transportation programs and projects, in addition to providing the status of active Measure B and Measure BB capital projects.

The 17th Annual Independent Watchdog Committee (IWC) Report was released in late summer 2019, along with the Executive Summary in English, Chinese and Spanish. The IWC committee concluded that the 2000 Measure B and 2014 Measure BB tax dollars were spent in accordance with the intent of the two measures during FY 2017-18.

Transparency ensures accountability as Alameda CTC continues to expand access and improve mobility, fostering a vibrant and livable Alameda County.
