Central County Complete Streets Implementation Project (A14-0035)

Alameda CTC is requesting proposals from interested firms currently on the qualified list in the “Multimodal Transportation Planning, Design and Engineering” and “Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning, Design and Engineering” categories of the Sustainable Communities Technical Assistance Program (“SC-TAP”) for the Central County Complete Streets Implementation Project, pursuant to the SC-TAP Statements of Qualifications submitted by such firms in response to Alameda CTC RFQ No. A13-0019.

The Project will be jointly managed by Alameda CTC and the cities of Hayward and San Leandro and Alameda County Public Works Agency, with Alameda CTC providing project administration and Hayward, San Leandro, and ACPWA staff overseeing all aspects of the technical analysis for each staff’s respective cities.

This RFP is being advertised to assist qualified prime consultants in locating subconsultants to meet the DBE contract goal. The DBE goal for this contract is 17.0 percent.

State Route 84 Widening from Pigeon Pass to Interstate 680 Project: Professional Engineering Services for the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA&ED) Phase (A14-0052)

The Alameda CTC intends to retain a professional engineering services consultant to provide professional engineering services for the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA&ED) Phase of the State Route 84 Widening from Pigeon Pass to I-680 Project (“Project”). The Project will be implemented by Alameda CTC; however, there will be considerable coordination with Project stakeholders including Caltrans and the Cities of Livermore and Pleasanton. Consultant will serve as Alameda CTC’s implementation and delivery team by providing technical and engineering services, including but not limited to, project management, environmental, hydraulics, traffic analysis, structural, and right-of-way, and other support services as required.  Consultant’s team will integrate seamlessly with Alameda CTC’s Project Team which includes Alameda CTC management, Alameda CTC Programs/Project staff, and Project Controls Team to ensure the successful delivery of the Project.  

  • The goal for this contract is 70.0 percent LBE and 30.0 percent SLBE.
