This month marks the second anniversary of the passage of the transportation sales tax Measure BB by Alameda County voters. We are pleased to provide you with a summary of accomplishments of our local funding measures between 2014 and 2016.

I-80 Corridor is SMARTer and Safer

The high-tech I-80 SMART Corridor project is activated. A network of integrated electronic signs, ramp meters and other state-of-the-art elements between the Carquinez Bridge and the Bay Bridge are improving safety and mobility.

Use the I-580 Express Lanes Through the Tri-Valley

The I-580 Express Lanes through Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton are open. Watch this video to learn how to use the lanes. All users need to have a FasTrak® toll tag. A FasTrak Flex® toll tag is required for carpools, motorcycles and eligible clean air vehicles to use the lanes toll-free. Get yours at www.bayareafastrak.org.

International Walk and Roll to School Day

Measure BB
