The Alameda County Transportation Commission (“Commission”) adopted an ordinance at its September 24, 2020 teleconferenced meeting repealing the existing I-580 Express Lanes Toll Enforcement Ordinance and replacing it with a new ordinance for the administration of tolls and enforcement of toll violations for the Alameda County Transportation Commission (I-580) Express Lanes and incorporation of the Article 4, Chapter 1, Division 17 of the Vehicle Code. The Ordinance established updated usage requirements for the I-580 Express Lanes and civil penalties for the evasion of those tolls or noncompliance with other policies set forth in the Ordinance.
