A Panel Discussion: State of Emerging Mobility in Alameda County

The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) will host a Joint Paratransit Advisory and Planning Committee (PAPCO) and Paratransit Technical Advisory Committee (ParaTAC) meeting focusing on the state of emerging mobility in Alameda County, with particular emphasis on the use of Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) by people with disabilities on:

This meeting will be a key opportunity for Alameda CTC’s PAPCO and ParaTAC members to receive a timely update on best practices around contracting with TNCs with examples from Dublin and Santa Monica, an update on SB 1376 (TNC Access for All), and a presentation on local research to date on use of Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV) TNCs. Committee members, presenters and guests will then have an opportunity for further discussion.
