Grants

The Alameda CTC has a number of grant programs available to local agencies and organizations for providing transportation services, programs and projects.

Three new calls for projects are available at this time. 

  • The California Department of Transporation and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission have released a Call for Projects with Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 funding. Approximately $13 million is available in CA for for vehicles, radios and dispatching software to assist private nonprofit corporations and public agencies that provide paratransit services. Grant applications are due to the MTC and to Alameda CTC by 4 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013.
  • The Alameda CTC Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Coordinated Funding Program Call for Projects will provide approximately $65.2 million in funding for transportation projects through three funding sources: Federal One Bay Area Grant Program, Measure B and Vehicle Registration Fee funds. An application workshop is on Thursday, February 7th at 1:30 p.m. at Alameda CTC. Grant applications are due by 3 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013.
  • The Fiscal Year 2013-2014 Transportation Fund for Clean Air Call for Projects will provide more than $1.8 million for projects that reduce motor vehicle emissions. As the TFCA program manager for Alameda County, the Alameda CTC is responsible for programming 40 percent of the $4 vehicle registration fee collected in Alameda County for this program. Grant applications are due by 3 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013.
