Programs

Alameda CTC plans, funds and delivers the following transportation programs:

  • Bicycle and Pedestrian Program: Elements include bicycle and pedestrian plans, complete streets policy, funding for biking and walking projects and programs, education and promotion, public involvement, technical assistance and monitoring.
  • Local Streets and Roads Programs: Measure B and Measure BB direct local distributions fund local streets and roads improvements such as pavement rehabilitation programs, sidewalk repair programs, streetscape improvement projects and street and bridge maintenance programs.
  • Paratransit Programs: Measure B and Measure BB fund operations for Americans with Disabilities Act-mandated services and city-based paratransit programs, as well as a discretionary Paratransit Gap Grant Program that funds transportation services for seniors and people with disabilities.
  • Student Transit Pass Pilot Program: This three-year pilot program funded by Measure BB makes it easier for Alameda County’s middle and high school students to travel to and from school and school-related programs, jobs and other activities.
